Transform your surgical care with Telehealth. Experience convenient evaluations, expert monitoring, and on-demand urgent support through our secure telehealth platform.
Telehealth aka telemedicine refers to the use of secure video conferencing and electronic medical health records that link medical providers with patients to extend care remotely. Telehealth technology also provides the ability to write prescriptions and safely store consented images that demonstrate the progress of care including weight gain/loss, wound healing, ambulation, gait, alertness level, mental status, and the overall progression of our patients.
Since the onset of COVID-19, telehealth has widely been adopted by governments and healthcare organizations worldwide. In 2020, the center for medicare services (CMS) also changed its telehealth regulations to allow for more providers, in more areas across the united states, to provide safe and secure care to their patients remotely.
According to the UCLA Health Division of Preoperative Evaluation and Planning Center (PEPC, 2020), in-person preoperative evaluations are challenging for surgical patients, especially for those who have pre-existing medical conditions, and those who need specialty consultations.
Telehealth Medical Group (TMG) understands the value of “on-demand” delivery of healthcare services, and the fact that patients are accustomed to using mobile health platforms.

The purpose of telehealth is to improve access to care for everyday working people. The benefits include: shorter waiting and travel time, added privacy, and higher cost savings. Telehealth visits are typically less expensive than standard clinic visits. In addition, telehealth visits can be scheduled sooner because providers can see more patients per day. With telehealth, there is no need to wait weeks for a clinic appointment.
TMG offers preoperative evaluations, postoperative evaluations, and urgent care services. All of these services include prescriptions, orders for imaging or labs, and subspecialty referrals if necessary.
TMG does not accept health insurance at this time. Instead you pay a flat fee for our services payable via debit or credit card on our website payment portal.
Our standard medical evaluation takes 3 to 5 days to complete. We need to receive all of your information including consents, patient intake form, valid blood pressure image, valid weight image, and lab results. Then we schedule your telehealth visit with one of our medical providers and complete your evaluation.
